This is a Winter picture of a southeast view below the hill of the historic Givins’ “Irish” Castle in the Beverly neighborhood located in Chicago, Illinois in Cook County. This three-story Limestone Castle was designed by Robert C. Givins, it is an example of Romanesque architecture from his memory of a castle he visited in Ireland, it features three crenellated towers, it was a gift for his Irish wife, it was built in 1886. The structure was purchased by the Beverly Unitarian Church in 1942. This picture was taken on January 15, 2019.
